“ 12.26.23: It was my first time in the store and I wanted to familiarize myself with the small town and needed to stop in for a few things. It was nice inside and it was bigger than I thought. There was a pretty good selection of groceries and I know this will be a regular go-to versus driving to a bigger town or city. My friend told me their donuts are pretty good and of course I had to try one. I had a maple bar and liked how the dough wasn't heavy and the maple glaze frosting was nice, smooth, and tasty. The clerk was friendly and engaging, which is awesome since I'll now be a regular. Being on the reservation, it was pretty cool to find out groceries aren't taxed. ”
“ Cute store with great mdse. Reasonable prices & quality food. Right next to a hardware store. Location is the best. ”
“ This is really the most wonderful bakery. We were visiting Hayburn State Park and just stopped in because they have ice cream. Then we saw the bakery. The pastries are as beautiful as any we've seen! And they have a whole case of donuts and filled bars. They were delicious! The people are so friendly and helpful they made it a great experience. We got two good sized scoops of ice cream and two Bavarian creams for less than six dollars! This place is a hidden treasure! ”
“ The review before mine is pure BS. I'm pretty sure this isn't the wild west and we don't drive people out of town. Benewah Market is clean, well stocked and a true bonus for our community. Granted, it is small, but the meat and produce and bakery are FANTASTIC!! I feel lucky to have the option to buy groceries near home and not having to drive an hour to Spokane or Coeur d'Alene. I like the hardware store attached as well!! Give the market a try!! You won't be disappointed ”
